Nutrition
No exercise programme is complete without a nutritional programme to support it. A good personal trainer should provide you with an understanding about nutrition so you become aware of which foods will compliment your training and which foods to be wary of. This is why all of my clients receive a full bespoke nutritional programme, nutritional advice and continuous support during and after our training sessions. You could have a great exercise programme in place but if your diet is poor it can make achieving your goal extremely challenging and in some cases impossible. Nutrition is an area close to my heart and something I will play particular attention to during our sessions. Everyone’s body and metabolism is different, therefore we each require different amounts of fats, proteins and carbohydrates to achieve optimal results. This is why I’ll ask you to complete a food diary so I can analyse what you’re eating to give you the best chance of hitting your goals.

Dieting when excising can be a tough, as naturally the more you exercise the more of an appetite you’re going to work up. I’ll show you why skipping meals isn’t the answer to weight loss and why your diet should have plenty of fat in it. Yes in it! The problem with most diets you see advertised on TV and magazines particularly the celebrity crash course ones is they just aren’t sustainable long term as they are either too extreme or too boring, not to mention potentially unhealthy. Excuse the pun, but this is a recipe for failure! The nutritional advice I provide will help you achieve the body you desire and also maintain it.
