I have never been self motivated where fitness is concerned but when my natural size 8-10 crept up to a large size 12 I decided it was time for a few changes. This year, my new years resolution was to get into shape for the summer. Going to the gym was not enough and I knew I needed to change my diet too. After months of going alone and constantly giving up I met Allan! He has supported me so much in changing my diet, which I found very difficult when I don’t have a lot of time for cooking and get too tempted by chocolate! I feel he has gone above and beyond what I expected by giving me a new diet plan, which is realistic and suits my lifestyle. I can’t wait to go on holiday now I feel in shape and confident!

Having just gone through a difficult divorce, I decided to focus with moving on with my life and to try to get my body into some sort of shape. I tried on my own for a few weeks but with minimal results, I approached Allan Tomkins at Centric Fitness. What a change it has made to my life, not only have I lost weight, I have never felt so good in myself and have become much more confident in everything I do. I’ve been training with Allan for the past two months and having shed almost a stone of body fat in that time I cannot recommend his services highly enough!
Allan made me feel at ease from my very first session and was totally understanding and accommodating when it came to working around my busy schedule. He designed a bespoke exercise plan based on my target of losing weight and he has managed to keep me motivated where I might have failed training on my own.
He also has excellent knowledge of nutrition which, they say, is 70% of the battle when it comes to fitness. My diet is much healthier now and crucially I enjoy eating what Allan recommends which makes it a lot easier to stick to my plan.
Allan’s passion for health and fitness is truly inspiring and I feel well on the way to being the person I want to be under his guidance. I have already recommended him to several of my friends and would encourage anyone considering training with him to give it a go. Above all he is an approachable and pleasant person and will make time to discuss your goals and give you advice even if you aren’t a current client.
